  • Bec Bliss, Founder, BKB Talent

    With over a decade of experience in tech recruiting, Bec Bliss established BKB Talent in 2021. Her journey began at a boutique agency, where she played a key role in recruiting for prominent clients such as Yext, Square, and Shutterstock during periods of rapid expansion in the early 2010s. Seeking new challenges, she transitioned to an in-house role at a well-established, publicly traded company with a two-decade history. There, she made significant contributions by building a tech recruiting function from scratch, attracting over 30 engineers within her first year and launching a dynamic, 15 person sales organization in under five weeks. This in-house experience proved invaluable, as it equipped her with the knowledge to develop a strong hiring brand and establish effective interviewing practices for internal teams.

    Continuing her journey, Bec joined a top-tier HR and recruiting consulting firm as its fifth hire, assuming the role of Principal Recruiter. In this position, she took charge of building operational structures and implementing best practices within the organization. Over a six-year period, she successfully devised recruiting processes and made strategic technical and sales hires for an impressive roster of clients, including Datadog, Oscar, Shortcut, Buzzfeed, Hometap, Squarespace, Meetup, Barkbox, and many others.

    Bec's expertise extends beyond recruiting; she shares her knowledge with the industry. As a highly technical recruiter, she teaches technology courses to fellow recruiters and serves as a guest lecturer at Columbia Business School, guiding aspiring entrepreneurs on building successful recruiting organizations for their early-stage ventures. At BKB Talent, Bec has assembled a small yet highly skilled team of recruiters who are dedicated to providing expert-level recruiting services exclusively to top tech companies at various stages of their growth lifecycle.

  • Drew Koloski, Business Development & Talent

    Drew has nearly two decades of experience in the talent industry. He has held several positions including startup tech recruiter, recruiting tech founder, corporate talent acquisition leader, and BD & growth leader. His unique perspective on building and growing top teams and companies allows him to work on all sides of the BKB Business. He helps to build client relationships, lead projects, and recruit top talent.

    Drew began his career on the agency side where he quickly got scooped up by a client in Experian where he went on to manage Talent Acquisition for Experian’s Marketing Services Business. He also built recruiting at multiple startups, including serving as the founding employee for American Express’s first-ever joint venture startup, vente-privee USA. Drew became a Talent Leader at XO Group, helping to build the first-ever corporate TA Function for an 18-year-old public company. He went on to co-found Upsider, a recruiting tech company that was acquired in 2021 by Recruiter.com. Drew spent the last 6 years at Gray Scalable scaling the Tech Recruiting Team and Building Business Development that lead to the company’s two best years. In 2014, LinkedIn recognized Drew as a top 100 Global Talent Acquisition Leader.

    Drew recently relocated with his wife and family of four children from New Jersey to Sarasota, FL. He is a huge soccer fan, an avid golfer, and spends his weekends exploring Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast on his SUP board.

  • Blessing Emeghara, Technical Sourcing Consultant

    Blessing has been in Talent Acquisition for almost a decade, helping build teams across diverse industries including tech and education. She started her career as an educator where she found her love for recruiting while hiring teachers for her team as a Grade-Level Team Lead. From there she transitioned to recruiting full-time for Teach For America where she improved the recruitment and retention of diverse educators by 275%. Most recently, she worked for an HR and Recruiting Solutions firm as a Recruitment Consultant hiring for a variety of roles in engineering and business for growth-stage/start-up organizations. Blessing is passionate about finding the right person, at the right time, for the right job!

  • Rachel Gnall, Technical Sourcing Consultant

    Rachel has been in Talent Acquisition for close to a decade, helping to build teams and processes for organizations ranging from large-scale tech to small series A startups. Prior to finding recruiting, Rachel dabbled in the Seattle startup scene working with clients in both a Buying and Account Management capacity. After landing in recruiting, she quickly realized her love for the work and her passion for connecting people with opportunities and opportunities with people. She most recently worked with an HR and Recruiting Solutions firm as a Recruitment Consultant hiring across a variety of roles in engineering and business for growth-stage/start-up organizations.

    Rachel also works with a local farm in the Seattle area where she has the opportunity to do everything from seeding and harvesting, to packing CSA boxes and working at various local Farmers’ Markets. She loves that this work allows her to find connection within her community, spend time outside, and eat a lot of good food!
